Discover Kyokutē massage

Become a Kyokutē Practitioner, Specialist and Expert

Immerse yourself in the unique world of Japanese facial massage

Kyokutē is much more than a facial massage; it’s an art of touch, combining precision, fluidity and intention.

The Japanese term “Kyokutē” literally means “music” Kyoku (曲) of the “hands” Te (手). It is distinguished by its ability to go beyond the simple aesthetic face-lift by focusing on the management of emotions and inner stress. It embodies a Japanese savoir-faire in which the music of the hands combines intention, respect and precision, offering immediate and lasting deep well-being.

Our course is structured in 3 progressive stages, enabling you to acquire Expert-level gestures. It is available in France and abroad, both face-to-face and by videoconference (available in French and English).

Your official certification from the Takumi Finch Institute, guaranteeing a recognized level of excellence.

From Kobido to Kyokutē

Historically, facial massage has its roots in ancestral Japanese practices, with two major techniques originating from the same era. While the Kobido massage is resolutely aesthetic, the Kyokutē massage, the ancestor of Kobido, explores deeper dimensions of therapeutic well-being. It embodies a Japanese savoir-faire in which the music of the hands combines intention, respect and precision, offering immediate and lasting benefits.

For the Institute, it’s obvious: rather than following a purely aesthetic approach, we’ve chosen to return to the roots of Japanese touch and develop it into a treatment more in line with therapeutic well-being.

Aware of the changing needs of modern lifestyles – rising anxiety, cell oxidation, body ageing and mental overload – and the needs of our patient-clients, we felt it was necessary to dissect and rework gestures to bring them more into line with our bodies.

We offer you 50 specific gestures that push back the limits of ancestral techniques.

Each gesture, meticulously designed and tested, respects the traditional roots of Kyokutē, while being adapted to the contemporary needs of the modern woman and man.

What does a Kyokutē specialist do?

The Kyokutē Specialist doesn’t just transform physical appearance; it also resonates deep down, touching the emotional and mental spheres.

  • An invigorated, soothed face: regain rested features, luminous skin and renewed dynamism.
  • Bright, clear eyes: A look that expresses renewed vitality and serenity.
  • Harmonized volumes: Thanks to targeted action on deep tissues, facial contours are restored and toned.
  • A regenerated mind: offering mental and emotional lightness, so you can face everyday life with confidence.
  • Global balance: By supporting the mental, physical and energetic dimensions, Kyokutē promotes homeostasis and plasticity, essential for adaptation and regeneration.
