That’s exactly what this Masterclass is all about: refining your sensations, overcoming your automatisms and giving a new dimension to your touch. We’re not going to say we’ll revise. We’re going to push you to improve, speed up your execution and integrate true letting go. So more ease, more musicality and more relaxation before tackling the more emotional part.
Objectives
This Masterclass is designed to help you progress on 2 levels: practical and theoretical. Through 3 complete, real-life treatments, we’ll perfect your speed and fluidity.
- Precise massage of the 3 Kyokutē treatments, integrating every technical detail and adapting the gesture.
- Understand and analyze each gesture, its effect on tissues and decision-making in real time.
- Develop fluidity and speed of execution, thanks to Kata, repetitive exercises inspired by traditional Japanese arts to improve hand independence, coordination and precision.
- Create a personalized massage plan, selecting and linking together around twenty gestures adapted to each customer.
- Develop a protocol for 12 symptomatic cases, building specific care plans.
- Correct limiting automatisms and optimize your posture for a more efficient and less tiring touch.
- Apply advanced concepts such as tensegrity, brain and tissue plasticity, the impact of touch on fascia and facial tension lines.
- Access exclusive resources: detailed explanation of practitioner and specialist books (updated after September 2023) and introduction to the Brain Reset protocol for acting on neuroplasticity.
Programme
Practice and corrections :
- In-depth analysis of gestures: explanation of gestures for 3 treatments and tissue reactions.
- Understanding frequent errors: identifying bad habits and correcting gestural compensations.
- Practical exercises: learning combinations and transitions
- Practical exercises: working on fluidity and speed.
- **Corrections **: correct any errors that may be troublesome.
- Case study: choose one of the 12 treatment protocols with a symptomatic and perform a treatment.
Theory:
- Advanced concepts applied to massage: tensegrity, cerebral and tissue plasticity, impact on fascia.
- Symptomatic case studies: explanation of the mechanisms behind the 12 treatment protocols.

Prerequisites
Hold a Kobido Specialist diploma from the Takumi Finch Institute and have at least 18 months’ practical experience.
If you have less than 18 months’ experience since obtaining your Specialist validation, but would still like to take this course, please contact us to discuss your situation.

Masterclass Mastery Kyokutē certification (level 1) will be issued.
Duration and Fees
This course comprises 16 hours of training, including 1 day of classroom session and 1 day of videoconferencing (Zoom).
