🔬 Scientific background
Studies show that, in adult women, hormonal acne is often linked to endocrine imbalances and chronic stress, disrupting sebaceous gland regulation (Thiboutot & Gollnick, 2009).
In teenagers, psychological stress is known to aggravate acne flare-ups (Yosipovitch et al., 2005).
