Our classroom training courses
Discover Kyokutē massage
Kyokutē: the Japanese art where the music (曲) of the hands (手) transcends aesthetics for a harmony between face, emotions and therapeutic well-being.
Discover myo-fascial training
The Takumi Finch method is based on precise, subtle tissue work that goes far beyond simple touch.
Here, there are no automatic gestures or fixed protocols: each technique is designed to interact in depth with the fascia.
The Institute
From the outset, the Institut Takumi Finch training school has been committed to offering a detailed understanding of Japanese therapies. We specialise in the face, the true mirror of our emotions and health. This approach has enabled us to create a precise and effective facial treatment method.
Today, by adding the fasciatherapy approach, we’re going even further. As well as working on bodily tensions, we are introducing an essential dimension: emotional release and calming the mental burden, all using the science of touch.
What sets us apart is our commitment to scientific research. We are seeking to define what therapeutic wellness could be. The institute is working with the Institute of Neurodegenerative Diseases in Bordeaux on a research project validated by the French National Centre for Scientific Research (CNRS) and the University of Bordeaux.
From masseurs, we want to take on a more rewarding role, that of fascia specialist, a key practitioner able to act on several levels to offer deep balance.
Whether you’re a paramedical or wellness practitioner, our training courses provide you with the tools for a more complete and personalized practice.
Our vision and mission
At the Takumi Finch Institute, our vision is clear: to combine tried-and-tested ancestral techniques with neuroscientific breakthroughs for a complete approach to well-being. Because preserving ancient wisdom is as enriching for our institute and our community as being open to scientific advances.
In practical terms, in our practice, we refine traditions, giving them greater meaning, infusing them with contemporary knowledge and practices to maximize their effectiveness. It is this combination that makes our wellness care methods not only a means of general soothing, but also a genuine contributor to overall well-being.
Our strength lies in the fact that we have built up a community of specialists whose feedback and own expertise provide a diverse and enriching forum for exchange and debate.
Feel the inner confidence that allows you to assert yourself in your role and contribute effectively to your area of expertise. Feeling legitimate.
Who can benefit from our training courses?
The Takumi Finch Institute offers specialized training for :
- paramedical masseurs (physiotherapists, osteopaths) looking to enrich their practices with therapeutic wellness techniques,
- non-masseuse paramedical staff (nurses, care assistants, psychologists) seeking to integrate complementary manual approaches,
